Article summary

1. Summary Assessment

Allow a delay of about 1-2 weeks;

  1. The applicant completes the DDC template (latest version);
  2. The manager at Constellio checks that the template is filled in, asks questions to clarify/complete the template;
  3. The template is submitted to the committees (technical+functional) for summary evaluation;
    1. Possibility of questions being submitted by the committee(s) prior to providing an assessment;
    2. Indicate whether development can be delivered in a minor version or must wait for the next LTS (subject to change during analysis);
    3. Provide an estimate for a detailed development assessment (see section below).
  4. The summary assessment is submitted to the applicant, including comments to the SDC and an assessment of efforts for a detailed development assessment;
  5. Indicate that, generally, time is allowed for project management (10-20%) and deployment (if applicable) depending on demand;
  6. Obtain the approval of the applicant to estimate it for the detailed evaluation, with the transmission of a quote;
  7. The template is submitted to the committees (tech+functional) for detailed evaluation.

2. Detailed assessment

Allow 2-3 weeks;

  1. The detailed evaluation includes all sections of the SDC (latest version)
    1. Impacts for programmers;
    2. Screen mock-ups;
    3. Test cases;
    4. Possible planning for delivery - confirm whether development can be delivered in a minor version or has to wait for the next LTS;
    5. Etc.
  2. The SDC is sent for approval, with a quote;
  3. Once approved, development is planned in a sprint;
  4. Detailed planning is provided to the applicant.

3. Development

  1. Development is carried out in a sprint according to the established plan;
  2. Development is tested for minor release or LTS (see Release support).

4. Delivery

  1. Once the development is completed and delivered in a version, we plan the installation at the site of the requester
    1. Pre-production (or other) update
    2. Update in production
  2. At each step, the requestor validates, any fix is sent to the support team by FreshDesk.
