1. Summary Assessment
Allow a delay of about 1-2 weeks;
- The applicant completes the DDC template (latest version);
- The manager at Constellio checks that the template is filled in, asks questions to clarify/complete the template;
- The template is submitted to the committees (technical+functional) for summary evaluation;
- Possibility of questions being submitted by the committee(s) prior to providing an assessment;
- Indicate whether development can be delivered in a minor version or must wait for the next LTS (subject to change during analysis);
- Provide an estimate for a detailed development assessment (see section below).
- The summary assessment is submitted to the applicant, including comments to the SDC and an assessment of efforts for a detailed development assessment;
- Indicate that, generally, time is allowed for project management (10-20%) and deployment (if applicable) depending on demand;
- Obtain the approval of the applicant to estimate it for the detailed evaluation, with the transmission of a quote;
- The template is submitted to the committees (tech+functional) for detailed evaluation.
2. Detailed assessment
Allow 2-3 weeks;
- The detailed evaluation includes all sections of the SDC (latest version)
- Impacts for programmers;
- Screen mock-ups;
- Test cases;
- Possible planning for delivery - confirm whether development can be delivered in a minor version or has to wait for the next LTS;
- Etc.
- The SDC is sent for approval, with a quote;
- Once approved, development is planned in a sprint;
- Detailed planning is provided to the applicant.
3. Development
- Development is carried out in a sprint according to the established plan;
- Development is tested for minor release or LTS (see Release support).
4. Delivery
- Once the development is completed and delivered in a version, we plan the installation at the site of the requester
- Pre-production (or other) update
- Update in production
- At each step, the requestor validates, any fix is sent to the support team by FreshDesk.
