Often, when submitting tickets in FreshDesk, you will be asked by Constellio's support team, depending on the nature of the issue in question, to send logs and/or a Save state of tools or a Save state of data for investigation. 

To do this, you will find the whole procedure to follow in the rest of this article.


1. Step One: Export 

You have to go to Control, then select the Data Export module. 


1.1 Exporting Logs

Select Others and click on the Export Logs button.




1.2 Exporting Tools

Select Others and click on the Export Tools button.



1.3 Data export 

Select Other and click on the Export all data button


Remark! 

Sometimes, when you select one of the options mentioned above, nothing happens.
In this case, you have to check in the address bar on the right. It's probably a pop-up that prevents the file from downloading.

So you're going to click on the pop-up and choose the first option which is: "Always allow pop-ups and redirects from https://..." and click on Ok. Once that is done, the export stage would have to be repeated. 


Now that you've successfully uploaded your file, all that's left to do is send it. 

Sometimes the file is large. In this case, a deposit link will be sent to you to be able to deposit the file(s).
