The user profile is unique to everyone. This section allows you to manage your personal information and configurations.

User Profile - Constellio

The profile's actions menu offers three options: 

  1. Edit profile : This option allows you to manage your user record and personal configurations.
  2. French / English : This option allows you to manage the language of your session.
  3. Logout : This option allows you to log out of your session.

Tongue
The language can be changed depending on the language selected for your collection. It depends on whether it is unilingual or multilingual.

1.2 Edit profile

1.2.1 User record

The user's card contains the user's information.

Certain conditions apply. 
Confirming the new passwordObligatoryWhen you set a new password, you must rewrite the same previously registered password.
Current passwordObligatoryWhen you set a new password, you must write down your old password.
Default languageObligatoryAllows you to change the language of the profile.
Language
The language can be changed depending on the language selected for your collection. It depends on whether it is unilingual or multilingual.
Only administrators and you can see the information entered in your profile.
LDAP
If your system is connected to LDAP, the user's record is not editable. For any changes, make a request to your system administrator.

1.2.2 Personal Configurations

Personal configurations allow you to configure various options in the system. These configurations are personal and only affect your profile.

Allows you to establish the order in which tabs are displayed in the "Virtual Spaces" tab                      (administrative units, locations, classification plan and shares, network).
Facets apply button enabledOptional
Enables multi-faceted enforcement. See Facets article, for more information.
Do not send email when connecting from a IP addressOptional
Determines that you do not want to receive email when connecting from a different IP address.
