Overview and what's new in Constellio 12.5

Version 12.5:

Important

Installing version 12.5 requires reindexing of the environment before it is fully operational.

⚠️ Important messages :

Several important security fixes have been included in this update to address identified vulnerabilities. It is therefore highly recommended to update to this version.
Version 3 of the API is now available and consolidates the features from versions 1, 2, and beta. Clients who wish to use it will need to adapt their integration. The following documentation has been prepared to support technical teams and facilitate the adoption of v3:

Additionally, API versions 1, 2, and beta are now deprecated, and a timeline for their end of life will be communicated shortly.

Lifecycle	Attempting to delete a record under a legal hold is now blocked by a clear error message. Previously, the action failed with a generic message and could leave the record in an unstable state.
Lifecycle	Fixed an issue where a record's closing date was not saved correctly if it was identical to the opening date. The system now accepts a closing date that is equal to or later than the opening date.
Metadata	Fixed an issue where the value of the 'Old Identifier' field was cleared when selecting a 'Container Type'.
